No other city in Germany has added so many works of art to its townscape after 1950 as Hannover. With the tour of the "Freilichtmuseum Hannover" ("Open Air Museum Hannover") you can see all of the city's major works of art. Guided "Tours of Art" are available for organised groups. The booklet "Kunst auf Schritt und Tritt" ("Art at Every Turn") is a perfect companion for short walks between the Rathaus (townhall) and the Maschsee or in the city park, Georgengarten or in Eilenriede.
