The front facade of Palazzo Guarienti is decorated with large but simple. triangular pediment which supports the roof. Smaller either traingular or semiarched structures, typical for early renaissance of 16th century, are added above windows of the second floor.

There is a plaque commemorating Napoleon Bonaparte put on the wall of the palace. It says that Napoleon spent night on 30 May, 1796, in the palace. Did he stand on this front balcony on my picture?

Valeggio sul Mincio in 1405 - 1796 was a part of a state called Venetian Republic which was conquerred by Napoleon's troops and first incorporated to French Empire in 1796, than given to Austria (1797) and later back to French Empire (1805) and again back to Austria (1814).
