  Casa de la Panaderia
by bijo69

The Plaza Mayor was designed in 1619 and has witnessed many public events like executions, coronations and even bull fights. In the centre of the square is a statue of Felipe III who ordered the creation of the square. The most impressive of the buildings which are surrounding the Plaza Mayor is the Casa de la Panaderia with its beautiful murals.
The square is filled with cafés, a good place to take a rest from sightseeing.
