"Japanese "Pancakes"" Sasebo Restaurant Tip by Havespoonwilltravel

Sasebo Restaurants: 13 reviews and 4 photos

In Saki Town, there is a place that prepares "okonomiyaki". These are savory pancakes made with fish cake, cabbage and green onions, plus other ingredients. These are prepared right in front of you on teppans by only one person, a Japanese Grandmother! She speaks not a bit of English, but her smile makes you feel like you are family.

Favorite Dish: Okonomiyaki and try the noodle variation, with a Kirin Ichiban! Kampai!

Price Comparison: least expensive
Directions: Saki Town
Price: US$11-20
