Not Worth Entering (My Opinion)

There is always a section on the Royal Palace Museum in most of the guide books. Well, I had the impression that the Royal Palace Museum is the main highlight in Luang Prabang after some reading.

The Museum has a very grand entrance and courtyard. It was indeed nice, especially to take pictures or just rest under the trees on the grass.

I paid US$2 to get into the museum and I found the exhibits not very impressive. Most stuffs on display are not really unique as they are recent stuffs, not antiques or something special. No photography is allowed in the museum and one would be able to comb through the museum in 30 minutes.

The exterior is nice but not the museum items inside.
