I don't usually stay overnight in Stuttgart, because it's no problem for me to catch the 23:05 train back to Frankfurt after the opera, but this last time I knew three of the singers in the performance, and I wanted to speak to them afterwards and go out for a drink with one of them.

So I went into the internet and got a very good deal on this hotel, EUR 35.00 for a single room with breakfast, through the website www.hrs.de, which was the second one I tried.

Aside from being inexpensive, this hotel has the advantage of being very close to the main railroad station, in fact you have a good view of the station and the Stuttgart hills from the breakfast room.

And it's clean and quiet.
