Sadaf: "Cheap kebab like you've never had before" Manchester Restaurant Tip by susiederkins

There are many fast food places in Rusholme, and most people recommend the curry houses there. However, I find what brings me out from the suburbs into Rusholme is this lovely place for kobedeh kebabs (pronounce KAW-buh-duh). For less than a fiver, you get a massive kebab on rice or naan and a canned pop.

Some instructions about eating the kebab. If you're having rice, just use your knife and fork. But rookies trying the naan for the first time tend to roll it up and eat it like a doner kebab. This is NOT how it's done. Tear off pieces of the naan, use it to grab some meat and veggies, and attempt to elegantly get it ino your mouth. It's a little messy for the likes of me, but I wouldn't be caught dead rolling my kebab up.

Favorite Dish: Try the kobedeh kebab - I've never even felt the need to try anything else here. It's a very long minced lamb and spices concoction, cooked in the tandoor oven and served with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and a few sauces. Choose either the naan (shaped long to fit the kebab), or rice (which is the fluffiest, most buttery-tasting lovely rice I've had).
