Regency Chiado: "Excellent location, at a price" Lisbon Hotel Tip by rsilva

This hotel is located in the heart of the "Chiado" neigbourhood and is not as well-known as some other Hotels in Lisbon.
It is a 4-star Hotel and although I have never stayed there myself, I have seen the lobby and the corridors and everything was impeccable and the decor was very stylish.
It was designed by the most famous Portuguese architect Siza Vieira and decorated by Pedro Espirito Santo.

There is a bar on the 7th floor with an excellent view over downtown Lisbon.
If you are willing to spend a bit more (30-40 Euros, I think), you could get a room with a terrace.
Prices are high, but they seem to be all over Lisbon nowadays. Rates start at about 150 Eur, but if you have the money...

It is located very close to the Rossio train and subway station and there are also bus stops very nearby. The famous S. Jorge Castle is only 1km away

Unique Qualities: Location, views.
