"Australian Centre for Contemporary Art - ACCA" Top 5 Page for this destination Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (ACCA) Tip by leffe3

One of the mopre controversial buildings in Melbourne. Opened in 2002, its usually refered to as the rust bucket! Personally, one of my favourite buildings, it is Melbourne's main centre for the presentation of international and Australian art. It still has to establish itself in the hearts of Melbournians - only a couple of months ago did it finally erect a sign on the outside stating what it was!

Its a great space for exhibitions, although the content itself to my mind is a bit hit and miss (but then that's the point, as ACCA challenges pre-conceived ideas).
