Diamond Bar & Grill, Richmond: 1 reviews and 1 photos
The Diamond Bar & Grill is a full-service sport bar air-conditioned and occasionally heated situated on the first base side of the main concourse. It is open 45 minutes before each home game and does not close until the last out is called. One time in mid-May, Lee and I had supper here before the ball game and during the first 3 innings. Because it was a dog nose (cold 53° [12°C] and damp) outside, we lingered here for as long as we could.
Favorite Dish: The good view of the playing field and the shelter from the cool weather were the Diamond Bar and Grill's only saving graces. The nacho supreme was nothing to write home about. The cheese sauce seemed to be nothing more than Cheez Whiz and the seasoned meat was overly seasoned. The tortilla chips, the black olives, and salsa were passable though. At $8.75 and $7.75 for what we ordered respectively, we would have gotten a better deal in terms of taste and price with the concession stands. Under normal baseball season weather conditions we would have, the shelter offered by this lacklustre eatery wouldn't have been so appreciated. I don't know what Lee would have picked for himself, but I would have gone to the Dominick's of New York kiosk.
