Most Polish Kings were crowned and buried here. The present cathedral is the third church to be built on that spot and dates from 1320.
In the centre of the cathedral there is the shrine of Stanislaus, a bishop, killed in 1079 at the command of King Boleslaus the Bold. Included in the entrance fee is a visit to the Bell tower and a visit to the tombs in the cathedral?s crypts.

Address: Wawel Hill
Directions: From the Rynek Glowny, go down Grodska street and the Wawel hill complex is on the right.
