  Kruger National Park - Rhino
by ant1606

Along with lion, elephant, leopard and buffalo, rhino is part of the so-called "Big 5".
This huge white rhino looked tame but no car attempted to pass by. This is their home and for no reason we should expect them to move out of way!
And, when in Kruger, you certainly look forward to witness such scenes.

This park is a must for wildlife lovers!

Very thrilling adventure! I hadn't realised that the Big 5 came so close to the cars. Went to Wildlife Safari near Roseburg, Oregon once. We came upon a bison cow giving birth to a calf, obviously at the end of her tether. We were transfixed for over an hour, called the gate, etc. No one came but they told us when we left that calf was born & mother and baby were fine. For all this, we only saw a few monkeys and the bison... That rhino in Kruger is more than I could take! :-)

I'm sure it won't! When I joined VT, some shots of China by a friend were imprinted on "my" brain forever and got me to go live there for a while, to follow my own road of discovery. I was amazed with all I saw and so glad for the prompt from my friend!
