"Baby Friendly Public Transport" General Public Transport Tip by rrgt

General Public Transport, Berlin: 94 reviews and 101 photos

Most of the Berlin buses are specially equipped to carry disabled passengers as well as baby strollers/buggies. A specific space in the middle of the lower level of the bus is allotted for wheelchairs as well as for strollers so you wouldn?t need to fold and unfold them when getting on and off. Restraints are available to keep them secure. Buses can also lower their bodies to facilitate disembarkation. Major U and S Bahn Stations are also equipped with lifts or escalators which make it easy to get up and down the various levels. Note that some smaller stations however do not have such facilities.

Type: Subway/Metro
