"Rubbing shoulders with his/her imperial majesties" Hermitage Tip by Assenczo

Hermitage, Saint Petersburg: 279 reviews and 544 photos

Hermitage is the best known landmark in St. Petersburg and as such needs no introduction. What is less common knowledge though is the fact that it possesses one of the best "private" concert halls in the city. Here you can combine the thrill of live classical performance with the imperial context - combination hardly available anywhere else. Chances are you will spend a lovely intermission gazing at the Neva river or the Zimnaya canavka since the "antechamber? is the bridge between the New Hermitage and the Theater over the Kanavka. Concerts are performed not as frequently as in other major venues. Check ahead of time. There should be info on the Hermitage site of coming events.
