This elephant orphanage was set up by the government to help out abandoned or abused elephants. They also have a nursery, where 60 or something elephants have been born. When we were there, i must have seen six or seven baby elephants.

I was impressed with this place. The rivers bathe in a large and wide river. Many go to the other side of the river bank, to throw mud on themselves-which keeps them cool.
