Airport to Paharganj (Main Bazaar) is too easy, here is my tip. When you get out from the Indira Gandhi airport, you don't have to take taxi or do any bookings at the passengers-pulling-counters, just walk ahead and out of the crowd. After getting out, there are many peoples waiting for buses taxis, just walk to the bus and ask the guys whether the bus goes to Paharganj but don't ask with full complete sentence, just point your finger at the bus with smile and ask nicely " Paharganj, Paharganj ?? " and they will reply " Yes, yes, Paharganj, Paharganj." Now you just hop on the bus, sit down and wait for the guy to collect 50 Rupees from you. In about 40 minutes, you will be sent to the main Railway Station and opposite the RS is Paharganj. Just walk along the street to find your backpackers' guesthouses, price ranges from 60 Rupees in dormitory to 500 ++ in luxury rooms.
