  Grayline Double Decker Bus
by jamiesno

The Grayline tour offer a double decker tour of the city. If you buy a day pass you can hop on and hop off at designated spots and times.

I picked up a pass for free with my Go Seattle Card however in the end I never used it for a couple of reasons.

For one the Seattle downtown is fairly compact and if you like to walk around before you know it you are already seeing most of the area covered by the bus.

Secondly its not an old or historic looking bus, its a shiney new red one with a covered top. Most likely because of the Seattle mist however I think it would be much nicer to be able to sit outside rain or shine!

Thirdly you have to monitor your schedule and I just like to keep moving and seeing as much as I can.

If you are going to opt for this tour I would recommend you do it very early on. That way you can get oriented and then later return to places in the downtown. Happy sightseeing in Seattle!
