This museum was founded in 1.993 as a private non-profit cultural foundation devoted to the arte of jewelry.
It opened to the public in 1.994 and today in its permanent collections more than 4.000 models of jewelry and micosculptures from 50 collections, designed by its founder, the Academician Ilias Lalaounis, beween 1940 and 2000.
This is the first and only museum devoted to mdern jewelry in Greece and abroad.
Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9.00 a.m to 4.00 p.m.
Sunday: from 11.00 to 4.00
Wednesday: from 9.00 to 9.00
Free entrance o Wednsday after 3.00 pm and Saturday from 9.00 to 11.00
