COLLEGE IN GRAND ISLAND

Favorite thing: I've never heard anyone refer to Grand Island (or "G.I.", as it is often referred to locally) as a college town, but there are some college opportunities here. Doane College is headquartered in another Nebraska town, but they do have a small presence here. Also Central Community College has one of its three campuses in Grand Island.
