Clydesdales pull the heritage double-decker trams.
by K.Knight

Situated at the start of the Causeway next to the Victor Harbor Visitor Information Centre, the Victor Harbor Horse Drawn Tram is a pleasent ride from the mainland to Granite Island, home to the fairy penguin.
Departing every 20 minutes, the daily service is the only all year operation of its kind in the world and the only recognised horse drawn tram service in the Southern Hemisphere operating on a continual basis. Serving visitors to Victor Harbor since 1894, the tramway enables visitors to capture the efforts of one gentle Clydesdale Horse that powers the transportation of visitors in a heritage double-decker tram across the 630 metre wooden Causeway to Granite Island.
