This mill was used for grinding corn for flour and animal feed and originally an overshot water-wheel provided power for two pairs of millstones, a grain cleaner and sack hoist. Built in the 17th century, this mill is from Lurgashall in Sussex where mills continued to have a working life up until the 1930?s.
