Mandurah Things to Do: 50 reviews and 106 photos

Halls Cottage was built by Henry Edward Hall in the 1832. Originally from Leicestershire in England, Henry traveled out to Australia with his wife Sarah and their 3 children. Another one was born in Fremantle.

The limestone cottage is very typical of the very earliest homes constructed by pioneer settlers in WA. The front door opens into a room which was probably the Sitting Room and another door leads to the rear verandah. The cottage was totally restored in 1992 and now operates as a museum of local history.

The cottage is open Sundays from 1.00pm ? 4.00pm.
