Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: I'd make sure I was wearing a good, sturdy pair of shoes.

Photo Equipment: Fredericksburg is chock full of historical sights, old buildings, fine dining, and antiques. So, I would probably bring lots of film for a conventional camera or a memory card with lots of space for those with a digicam.
