Naran What to Pack: 3 reviews and 2 photos

Luggage and bags: A good hiking bag would suffice. Something like a day bag. Enough to carry stuff for a day trip

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Jeans or cotton pants if you want to stay comfortable. Good waterproof hiking boots. Water proof jacket (ski jacket with thermal works great). Hat.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: For your personal hygine...shaving creams, toothpaste/brush, and ladies if it is that time of the month...U know what :); all th emedicine that you may require...usually stuff for stomach, headache, antiseptic, band aides for cuts, first aid kit...

Photo Equipment: Films, batteries, tripod, and oh yes...camera. If a digital freak...some more batteries...extra disks/cartride the camera, and if you had taken enough pictures, then naturally a lap top to download.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Tents if you want to spend the night outdoor, and a walking stick. You can also ask a local to make you one...this is what we did.

Miscellaneous: If you can not stomach the water...buy enough mineral water bottles from your point of origin (Islamabad/Pindi).
