Calasetta is not the Costa Smeralda or the jet set hot spots. It's stil possible to get a relatively untouristy experience. Most tourists come from Italy and some from northern europe and scandinavia. I've met only a handful of americans since I was a child. It's still a bit of a novelty for people to see an american here.Most people who come here come year after year and rent houses or have some familial ties.
