"Eat in the Rifugi" Carisolo Restaurant Tip by giampiero6

In the areas around Carisolo there are many mountain rifugi where you can stop for a bite, a grappa, a coffee, fresh cream and berries or a nice berry or nut crostata. Usually you'll be hanging out in a granite hut, in green meadows with only the sound of mooing and cowbells to break the silence.

Favorite Dish: There are Many Rifugi in the Dolomites. Get a good guide (SAT Societa Alpini Trento has a good one) and visit them all. Polenta and Mushrooms or Polenta and Chamois after a days' climb iS fantastic.
