"Don't accept any "lucky" gadgets on the street" Milan Warnings Or Dangers Tip by tomerik

Milan Warnings and Dangers: 101 reviews and 46 photos

On the adjacent streets of the Duomo area you might be approached be people (on my occasion africans) offering lucky gifts.
Here's the deal: a person stops you and want to shake your hand. Friendly as you might be you will greet his friendly apporach by shaking his hand. Before you know the word of it he'll place a tourist souvenir on your hand saying it's a free lucky gift . Don't accept it. He/they will later ask you for money and put you in an embarrasing situation.
Perhaps not the most widespread danger in town but still a clever way to lure some money out of someone.
