Taking a Thai cooking class is a lot of fun. We went with a small company called Thai Farm cooking school. We found their brochure at our hotel. They have different cooking menus every day-they can easily adjust the schedule for vegetarians. Just let them know ahead of time. They picked us up in the morning-took us and the other students to a wet market. I have been to wet markets before, but found the main one to be of great quality. We had a thirty minute drive to their farm-where they grow ingredients for their cooking school. Their farm isn't very big, but it's quite relaxing to be out of the city.

We made red chicken curry, pad thai, fried chicken cashew nut, som tom (yummy)- papaya salad. and mango with sticky rice for dessert.

This is an all day affair. Highly recommended. They also give you a nice cookbook when you are finished.
