Favorite thing: There is a steep rise between Franklin and Grace Streets east of Shockoe Bottom and downtown. Climb that hill, turn left onto Grace Street. At the intersection of 22d and Grace Street is the old (1968-2000) WRVA radio station (they merely moved to the West End). Park the car and go to the edge of the hill and take in this photographic vantage point. The views are even more breathtaking at night.
