Real rivers are quite rare in Israel. So, this spot where th Yarmouk river flows into the Jordan river is quite unique. On rainy winters the current can be quite strong. This is why they built an electricity plant here in 1934, which is now in Jordan territory. The border between Jordan and Israel is now in the middle of the Jordan river. So, if you are around Ashdot Yaakov, come and have a look. It's only 10 km south of the Kinneret.
