Church of Our Lady Victorious, Prague: 19 reviews and 29 photos
When I was a small girl many moons ago, my aunt gave me a small statue of the Infant of Prague. In fact I still have it to this day. Yes I know its called the Infant of Prague but never realised that the statue was actually in Prague, thought it was just the name that had been given to it for whatever reason.
This church was built in 1613. The Infant of Prague is said to have protected Prague from the plague and also from destruction in the 30 years war. It is very much a place of pilgrimage. Its a lovely church and the statue especially so.
