The defenders of the Alamo have all their names on the monument erected on the plaza.
4 figures are underlined : Davy Crockett, Jim Bowie, William B Travis and an other I forgot the name.
The 189 (around) other defenders are named.
No French among them. Normal, the only French guy who was in the Fort was the man who decided to leave when Travis allowed to escape. He was a former Napoleon's soldier and knew what would be the end of the adventure.
The museum is neaby and presents on exibit some stuff belonging to the fighters and several paintings. The entrance is free. No photograph.
