just as you enter the New York Public Library and you are going up the stairs to this amazing building. To the Left is this statue made into the wall of the library.

Notice the detail work done on this statue. I don't know alot of history on the statue and what it represents but it is amazingly detailed and beautiful.

Directions: Take 1,2,3,9 to 42nd Street and Broadway. Walk two blocks east to Fifth Avenue.
