Budapest Off The Beaten Path: 393 reviews and 727 photos
After the demolition of the ugly office building on Vorosmarty square in the very heart of Budapest, now you can see some old wall advertisements from the era of the communism.
These ads were quite popular before, we had loads of this "simply shaped" drawings and also lots of murals, mosaics...this is one thing I miss nowdays :)
This one was an ad for the "Hungarian State Insurance Company" and for "IBUSZ", the travel agency which still exist, but at the time the ad was made it was the one and only!
We still have some of this old ads, most of them partly or fully covered though...there are even older ones and it's a pitty that no one is willing to preserve them.
