Take a walk on the Brooklyn Bridge
by rosie_b

It's amazing to actually walk on the Brooklyn Bridge. I could see cars passing by on my left and right, while walking on the pedestrian side of the non-vehicle part of the bridge. You have to stay on your right when you walk, because the left lane is reserved for bicycles. At one point, I was screamed at by a bicyclist because I was walking on his path .. Anyway, it's a great experience to have, plus you have a chance to see the statue of liberty from far away and also to see the landscape of Manhattan along with the Manhattan Bridge.
