  Rembrandt's House

It took us a while to get to Rembrandt's house walking from the central train station. But walking through the city along the canals and over the bridges is pleasant, especially if the weather is nice. We expected to see the original house, but found a very ugly construction which is a simple residential building.
A little, totally unremarkable sign confirms that this was the place of birth of the famous painter. Dissapointing really, I did expect to see more.
However, many other places still remind of Rembrandt's life especially the huge museum and the Latijn School (Latin School) were the painter studied.

Address: Weddesteeg
Directions: If you come from the city center following the canal you'll see the building on your left side as soon as you turn to the Weddesteeg
