WIthout a doubt, Balthazar always serves the best breads, especially when you get them fresh in the morning. For dinner and lunch, the menu is good and everytime I go there for either lunch or dinner, the quality of the food is always great. They always cook the food in correct temperature and the seasoning is always right on the money. But at most times, I like going there for the weekend brunch. I think they have the best classic brunch menu in the whole city. When you want to go, make sure you have a reservation. If you don't, you have to wait for 45 minutes to an hour to get a table or if you lucky, you can get a bar seating right away. If you want to avoid the crowd during the weekend, you can always get their breakfast weekdays from 7:30 to 11:30 am.

Favorite Dish: My favorite item for brunch is the classic Eggs Benedict and Eggs in Puff Pastry. The eggs are cooked perfectly (especially for the Eggs Benedict, they were poached but not overcooked). A glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and a cup of cappucino with your meal is just right to start your day.
