The Filmmuseum is the continuation of the former Dutch Historical Filmarchive.
Nowadays you can explore the old archives or enjoy the movies being shown.

The building is the former Vondelparkpaviljon from 1881and designed by W. Hamer.

The Museum will move to a new location in Amsterdam North; the so-called Shell area.
