REVELSTOKEis situated on the east bank of the Columbia River where the river is joined by it tributary, the Illecillewaet.
The town was constructed in the late 1800's at an altitude of 1,494 feet. The town's wealth of heritage buildings like the old post office, the court house and the "Roxy", draw many visitors. Also the Revelstoke Museum and the Firefighter's Museum are among the many things to do and see here. Even though it was raining the day & evening spent here, Hans and I still enjoyed our visit here and recommend it as a place to see,
