Now, we didn't personally stop or eat here. We did walk past it on our walking tour of Lexington. It is a very nice old building.
Here is some of the history of it:

The inn has long been a landmark on the local scene. It dates from the year 1887 when John Sheridan, an Irish immigrant who had been in the calvary of the Confederate Army, purchased the building and opened a livery stable. The livery stable closed in 1919 and Sheridan sold the business to the Rockbridge Steam Laundry Corp. Subsequently, the building has passed through a succession of owners.

It has been inn and restaurant owners Ugo and Gina Benincasa's dream to convert the historic building into a viable hotel/restaurant/conference center with office space, however. To that effect, they purchased the building in 1994 and started working on the project nine months ago with the help of architect Skip Ravenhorst, interior decorator Jacquelyn Buckner, building David Loughead and others.
