"Guilford" Upper Swan Off The Beaten Path Tip by keeweechic

Upper Swan Off The Beaten Path: 3 reviews and 3 photos

The town of Guildford has been recognised by the National Trust of Australia and was one of three original Swan River Colony settlements. Guildford has some wonderful old buildings as well as many original homes, many of them very grand. Some are open to the public. Today Guildford is seen as the gateway to the Swan Valley, a rich wine producing area of Perth. One of the oldest wineries in WA (Olive Farm Winery) was established in 1829 and their wine cellar is still in use. The oldest church in WA is also in the Swan Valley ? All Saints Anglican Church at Henley Brook.

Guildford is just south east of Whiteman Park.
