"Santi Apostoli church" Chiesa Santi Apostoli Tip by Julius_Caesar

Chiesa Santi Apostoli, Rome: 1 reviews and 1 photos

This church dates from the 6th century, but was rebuilt in the 15th and its Baroque interior was completed by Francesco and Carlo Fontana in 1714. Note the awesome 3-D effect of Giovanni Odazzi’s painted Rebel Angels, who really look as though they are falling from the sky. The church also cointains Canova’s Tomb of Clement XIV.
