This is the church of Santa Maria Assunta but everybody in Venice call it Gesuiti. First it belonged to the religious order of Crociferi but in 1657 passed to Gesuiti Order that totally modified the aspect of the church. Facade, by Fattoretto, represents an example of Venetian Baroque.
The church is known for the treasure but also for the paintings. Here you can see some masterpieces, works of Jacopo Palma and Tiziano.
