"THE langos" Szentendre Restaurant Tip by shirez

This meal is called 'lángos' (laangosh) and it is something like dough fried in oil.
Traditionally we eat it with sour cream and cheese on the top (so it is salty.. i cant imagine it with other toppings actually...extrems can try it with ketchup, or any thing else, but that is not the traditional hungarian fattening meal).:-)))

Favorite Dish: We ate two langos, two pancakes and a 1/2 l ice tea and paid only 4 EUR.

The langos costed 370 HUF/ piece.

Directions: As you find the Main Square (see above tips) look for the Church there. As you stand in front of the Church and facing it, there is a tiny, narrow corridor going up on the hill, there is the 'Langosos'.
