Favorite thing: Stroll around Copenhagen as much as possible; don't limit yourself to one thing; combine art, water activities, shopping, the excursions and the nightlife into your trip and you'll have the best getaway ever. Just don't forget to sit down and have a drink at Nyhavn after a busy day of walking!

And don't think you're stuck to have-tos: hey, when I was there the Little Mermaid was off her pedestal again and I still managed to thoroughly enjoy myself :-)

Fondest memory: When I arrived in Copenhagen I felt as if I had come home: what with all the canals, cute old houses, ornate public buildings, bikes and people strolling everywhere it was just like Holland! But Denmark seems to offer it all with a bit more friendliness and sparkling clean environment.

The people were lovely and I was constantly charmed by the beautiful city and its genteel, sophisticated aura. I could definitely live here for a while!
