Pinnacles Hut: "A welcome site at the end of a long hard climb." Kauaeranga Hotel Tip by kiwi

This is the Pinnacles Hut and it is administered by DOC - Department of Conservation. Provided for walkers and to avail them to some shelter, while visiting our forest parks.
All bookings and info about the hut is done throught the Kaueranga Visitor Centre, on the road in. There is no communication with the hut itself, which has only solar power and gas for cooking.

Unique Qualities: This allows members of the general public to get into the bush and experience some of the outdoors. In particular here on the Coromandel, they will view some of the most spectacular scenery in NZ.
