Trekking to Mukhaspuri peak is an experience of the life time. If you are healthy, confident and a good hiker then you should not miss to visit the second highest peak of lower himalayas ( altitude 9,186 feet or 2800 m).

You must bring rain coat, umbrella and drinking water in good quantity. You can also take juices, fruits, chips and chocolates to eat at the top. But keep the place clean and collect the items consumed by you in shopping bags and dispose them off properly when you are back to Nathia Gali.

Start your hike early morning when weather is clear otherwise you could be in real trouble at the middle of the no where. Frequent cloud bursts on the way can give you a really tough time.

Alyways try to join some group who is leaving for Mukhspuri, just incase you are alone. Its not recommended to hike alone. It could take you two to three hours to climb the peak.

On top you would see lush green meadows, a small lake, wild flowers, cows and thick dark clouds covering the area all around. You can climb the peak from Nathia Gali side and come back the same way. Its other end is on Dunga Gali side. But that track is very steep and it becomes difficult to balance yourself at many places.
