Another must see Australian animal is ofcourse the Koala Bear. Found mostly in Eastern, and South Australia, the Koala prefers tall eucalypt forests or low woodland areas. Koalas favor eucalypts as their main source of nutrition, but also may eat wattle tree or tea tree for a nice change in diets.

Koala comes from the ancient Aboriginal word meaning "no drink" becuase 90% of its water comes from the eucalypts leaves. They can eat 200 to 500 grams of leaves per day. The average weight of a Koala is about 20 pounds, and living in a safe environment, they can live up to 10 years.

They spend almost all their time in trees. Sleeping from 18 to 20 hours a day, and eating the remaining time. I must be part Koala...

Koalas are a one of a kind animal, and not to mention as most girls would say "just so darn cute". Just like they say about me. I told you i am part Koala.
