"Stay here while you have the chance" The New Frontier Hotel And Casino Tip by PinkFloydActuary

  The "New" Frontier
by PinkFloydActuary

Rumor has it that this baby is on the chopping block in the next few years. The check-in lines kind of jut back towards the casino which can cause some traffic jams. Felt like check-in took longer than necessary. The rooms are showing their age, but still not bad for the price. The casino is smoky, and it's hard to get on a table. Some of the machines are also ready for retirement. Stayed in early March, so didn't get to check out the pool, though I'm told it has a deep end.

If you can get past the rundown feel of the place, it's a cheap place to crash at night. Easy access to north strip properties.

Updated: RIP, Frontier!

Unique Qualities: They used to have a shuttle to the airport, so if you're flying into town, see if that is still running to save some cash on a cab. Also, this casino has a bingo parlor. It's worth searching it out to see the haze from the cigarette smoke in that room!

Address: 3120 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109
Price Comparison: less expensive than average
Directions: Towards the North end of the strip
Price: US$40-80
Theme: Hotel
