Taverna Plaka: "Greek food in the city" Atlanta Restaurant Tip by goingsolo

Atlanta Restaurants: 347 reviews and 337 photos

Atlanta is not known for its diversity of population and the lack of ethnicity is apparent in the availability of restaurants. There are numerous good restaurants in Atlanta, but finding good Greek, Middle Eastern or Thai food is a challenge.

Taverna Plaka is one of the few Greek restaurants around. Fortunately, its also pretty good. Its a lively scene with music and table dancing and a great place to go with a group of people. The appetizers are a good bet and while the seafood isn't bad, I wouldn't recommend it.
